The Turbot is part of the flatfish family. It is known for its large flake and its excellent mild taste. Once cooked it retains its bright-white appearance.

Note: Turbot is sold whole with skin on or skin off. Each whole fish is approximately 3.3-4.4 lb. 1 lb will approximately feed 2 people.
Fun Fact: One of the earliest references to the turbot can be found in a satirical poem in the late 1st and early 2nd century.
