Lobsters are sold frozen or alive. The two types of lobster sold are Maine lobster and Florida lobster. Maine lobsters are known for their claw and tail meat. The Maine lobster claws are different from any other lobster and are their defining feature. The Florida lobster does not have great big claws like the Maine lobster but has a bigger tail. The Florida lobster tail is sold frozen in different sizes. 

The live Maine lobster comes in different sizes directly from the cold waters of the northeastern USA.
